The aim is for everyone to be able to use this site, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, zoom or high-contrast settings. The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA.
What is in place
- A skip link to the main content and a single heading structure on each page.
- Text and buttons checked for colour contrast against their backgrounds.
- Menus and question panels that work with a keyboard and report their state.
- Descriptive alternative text on images, and decorative icons hidden from screen readers.
- Layouts that reflow on small screens and respect reduced-motion settings.
Known limits
Some linked government documents are PDFs that may not be fully accessible. They belong to the issuing agencies.
